Pantone Color of the Year 2017....

Greenery!! Pantone it's saying it is fresh and it is nature's neutral. I have not seen this color in a few years so will be interesting if our brides will be putting it as a focus on their color palette. Florists love to throw some greenery into bouquets and centerpieces so wondering with this color as the main focus, if we will see some new designs! Very exciting as always to see the new chosen color and if we will see it in the year to come!

Danielle and Arthur-DeWolfe Tavern

Danielle and Arthur had a gorgeous day for their June wedding.  Their ceremony was held at Bristol Harbor Inn with the reception following at DeWolfe Tavern.  Danielle had so many small details that she incorporated into the wedding, that were of real sentimental value to she and Arthur. One word to sum up this wedding, FOOD!!! They had so much food, and all of it was wonderful, and the desserts were over the top!!! Congrats again to Danielle and Arthur!

Danielle and Matthew: Belle Mer

The morning started for Danielle and Matthew getting ready at the Mill Street Inn in Newport. Each had their own suite and had time to enjoy the morning with their friends and family members. A trolley from Viking picked up the wedding party and brought Danielle and Matthew were married at the Jesus Savior Church in Newport.  After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party were off to Rosecliff for photos.  After some great photos, the wedding  party headed to Belle Mer to enjoy some time together before guests arrived in the wedding suite.  The Silver Arrow Band entertained the guests for the evening and Belle Mer provided a wonderful meal as well as some late night snacks. Congratulations to Danielle and Matthew!

Meg and Jacob Canonicus Camp and Conference Center

Meg and Jacob were married on a beautiful March day, Meg had her heart set on an outside ceremony, and she got exactly what she wanted! Meg and Jacob had met at Canonicus counselors and decided it was the best place for them to celebrate their marriage. After a beautiful ceremony, guests enjoyed the beautiful views and enjoyed food from Chelo's. The rustic dining hall was the perfect spot for their reception, and their love for the outdoors showed through in all of their decor. Congrats to Meg and Jacob!

Tim and Steve-Glen Manor House

I enjoyed every minute of working with Tim and Steve.  I believe that Tim would be a great planner! He was very detailed in what he wanted for his special day and it showed in all that he did. Family and friends was very important to this couple, and the love resonated from their wedding party to their families. They chose to have their ceremony and reception at The Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, and had a close friend officiate the wedding with the scenic setting of the ocean behind them.  Since they had almost of all their pictures completed before the ceremony, they had to time to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. After a wonderful meal from West Bay Gourmet, guests and the couple spent the entire night on the dance floor.

Nick and Jess-Foster, RI

Nick and Jess are originally from Rhode Island but living in California and decided to come home for their wedding. They held their wedding at Nick's family home in beautiful Foster, RI.  Many personal touches were added to the decor and Nick's aunt was the floral designer and had really captured the vision that the couple had. Congrats nick and Jess!

Liz and Ben-Fry Farm

I have known Liz for many years, back to when she was in high school, so I was honored when she asked me to be her planner. She knew exactly what she wanted and that was for everyone to be relaxed and have a great time! Liz and her family are dairy farmers so it only made sense to have the wedding on the farm. Their ceremony was at the First Baptist Church of East Greenwich and after the ceremony, the bridal party headed out in antique cars for photos. Once at the farm, guests dined on a clambake provided by B & M Catering. Dessert was cake, cupcakes and delicious Allie's donuts. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor and ended the night with a bonfire. Congrats Ben and Liz!

Marley and Chris-Vanderbilt Grace

Marley and Chris had a gorgeous day for an intimate wedding at The Vanderbilt Grace.  The couple and their bridal party hopped on a trolley, provided by Rockstar Limo with their bridal party, photographer Jacklyn Lombardo, and videographer Clean Canvas Media to head around Newport for some great shots.  The ceremony and reception we both held at The Vanderbilt Grace, which is a small boutique hotel in downtown Newport. After the ceremony which was held under a beautiful arbor designed by Sayles Livingston Designs, guests headed up to the rooftop for cocktail hour, while we transformed the outdoor terrace into a gorgeous reception. Guests were entertained by the music of The Dream Team Band from NYC, who kept everyone on their feet all night long. Congrats to Marley and Chris.

Rebecca and Jon-Linden Place

Rebecca and Jonathan had a beautiful wedding at Linden Place.They chose navy blue, turquoise, and purple as their colors  and what an amazing palette that was.  After getting ready in the bridal suite at the Biltmore, Rebecca met Jonathan for their first look at Linden Place. They exchanged  letters to each other and were able to have a few special moments before the formal pictures began.. Signature drinks were handed out in mason jars by the staff of Glorious Affairs. John Orton Designs provided the gorgeous florals, candles, and lanterns. After dinner, the group Men in Black began to perform, and had the guests on their feet until the end of the night.. A big thank you to M Studios for the photos!!!

Danielle and RJ-Five Bridge Inn

What a wonderful family weekend for Danielle and RJ's wedding at Five Bridge Inn.  It started with a nice rehearsal dinner on the terrace of The Five Bride Inn and ended with a beautiful wedding reception held under the tent. RJ is a very crafty groom, and together they came up with some beautiful creations for the wedding that they will continue to enjoy in their home.
