Pantone Color Institute LogoMARSALA! What a fun color this is! There are so many great ideas to use with this color.  The color is much deeper and richer than pantone colors in years past.  We are so excited to see which of our brides in 2015 will be using this color and we can't way to share our ideas.  Happy New Year to all!

Andrea and Omar held both their ceremony and reception at The Dorrance in Providence. The evening began with a beautiful ceremony that was both in English and Spanish. The guests then moved into cocktail hour, while the bridal party departed for pictures at Waterplace Park. A four course meal was served while guests enjoyed a spectacular Spanish trio. After dinner, guests hit the dance floor for music played by DJ Justin Krakowsky. Pizza and sliders with fries were the late night snacks along with cupcakes provided by Lasalle Bakery. Erin and Alex, Glen Manor House

Erin and Alex had a gorgeous day for their Glen Manor Wedding. They began with pictures prior to the ceremony at the Glen.  Their ceremony was a Catholic/Jewish ceremony and was a beautiful way to blend both families.  After the ceremony, guests were treated to a signature cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by Blackstone Caterers. The bride and many of her family members had celiac disease so this wedding was completely gluten free. This included a gluten free wedding cake provided by Eva Ruth's in Middletown.  Once dinner had concluded, guests hit the dance floor to the sounds of Nightshift, a special surprise was when the bride's father sang a special song to her. It was so touching and beautiful.  Congrats to Erin and Alex and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

Samantha and Abiola, Atlantic Beach Club

With a day that promised thunderstorms and rain, we had not one drop and although it was a little warm, Samantha and Abiola and their guests were able to enjoy all the Atlantic Beach Club offered.  They had a beautiful cocktail hour outside under a tent, where 280 guests enjoyed the gorgeous ocean view.  From the cocktail hour they moved into the ballroom, that has an unbelievable view. The food was incredible, they had 3 courses, with a dessert table and then late night snacks of a variety of pizzas. Guests had a great time with the photo booth, dressing up as their favorite superheros. There were many traditional Nigerian customs that occurred throughout the evening, because both families were rich into tradition, Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day! Congrats!

I am a huge fan of Sara Bareilles and was able to see her amazing show last week and I am also a huge fan of weddings. Sara had a contest for her fans, and made her "I Choose You" video to their proposals. Imagine getting engaged AND having Sara Bareilles there serenading you. Click on the link to see the video. Rebecca and Tom at Breene Hollow Farm

We were thrilled to be working with the Breene family once again for Rebecca's wedding. Rebecca and Tom also decided to hold their wedding at the family farm in West Greenwich.  Rebecca arrived to the ceremony with her dad in a restored car owned by her late grandfather, which was a beautiful surprise to her grandmother. The ceremony was in the middle of the corn fields and the ladies all showed up on a tractor.  Guests then went under the tent to enjoy cocktail hour with food provided by A Touch of Class Catering.  Rebecca and Tom and their wedding party headed off to Alton Jones to take pictures with photographer Daniel Wodecki. Guests were able to take pictures at the photo booth provided by SeeMonkey, look at old family photos and able to enjoy the red, white and blue decor.   The dance floor was the place to be with music provided by Razman Events and the end of the night guests enjoyed a bonfire under the super moon.

Paula and Christian at The Aldrich Mansion

What a beautiful June day we had to celebrate Paula and Christian's wedding day. They had a small, intimate ceremony that was held at the chapel at The Aldrich Mansion. Instead of a traditional sit down meal, the couple decided to have a variety of stations, open throughout the evening for guests to enjoy. Their first dance was on the veranda of the mansion, overlooking Narragansett Bay.  Guests (including the couples dog, Danny)enjoyed a delicious cake from Scrumptions for dessert and danced to the music from Moondance Productions.  Congratulations, Christian and Paula.
