Dolores and Jack Aldrich Mansion

Dolores and Jack were married on a beautiful June Day at the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, RI. Both the ceremony and reception were held on the property The bride started her day by getting hair and makeup by Kristin Greene and Company at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Warwick. After hair and makeup the ladies headed over to the Aldrich Mansion to get dressed and to get ready for their first look. Upon arrival at the hotel, Dolores realized she forgot her veil in the hotel room.  We had it under control, Tara my trusty sidekick was at the hotel making sure guests were getting on the shuttles in time, got a room key, found the veil and brought it quickly to the mansion before any of the photos had even started. Sarah Pudlo was the photographer for the day and she does an amazing job keeping on time and takes some pretty amazing shots! Tony and the staff at the Aldrich Mansion always do such an excellent job, and with so many details incorporated into this wedding, we worked as a great team to get everything set up and broken down at the end of the evening. Of course, no wedding is complete at the Aldrich Mansion without the fantastic dessert room, which never disappoints a crowd of wedding guests. Congrats once again to Dolores and Jack!

Jessica and David-Fort Adams State Park

Jessica was so excited at our first meeting for her wedding, she was so happy to be marrying David at one of the coolest venues around, Fort Adams. She planned on getting ready in the casemates, and had some great ideas! On the day of the wedding, the skies were not as cooperative as we would have liked and ended up doing the ceremony in the casemates due to the pending rain.  After the ceremony was completed, the casemates were transformed for cocktail hour.  The floral arrangements by Sayles Livingston were absolutely stunning.  The catering was provided by Blue Rocks Catering and they did such a fantastic job.   The couple provided lawn games for their guests, and there was so much laughter and fun had by all! Congrats to Jessica and David.

Lauren and Robyn-Belle Mer

I always say, we can control almost anything on the wedding day except Mother Nature.  On Lauren and Robyn's wedding day, she opened up the skies.  While it did foil their plans for outside pre-ceremony photos, it did not damper spirits.  By the time the ceremony was over, the sky cleared over Belle Mer and they were able to get gorgeous shots outside. The personal touches they had were so much fun.  Instead of a traditional guest book, they opted for Jenga pieces, since this was a game that had significance to them.  And at the end of the night, when everyone is on the dance floor, why not surprise them with Ben and Jerry's ice cream sundaes.  This was such a hit with their guests.  The guests also got to enjoy the mirror photobooth, provided by Luke Renchan Entertainment.  Congratulations to Lauren and Robyn!

Amanda and Mike-Acoaxet Club

Amanda and Mike were married at the Westport Free Chapel in Westport, MA.  It was such a quaint location with much history to the small chapel.  After the ceremony, guests headed down the stree for the reception at the Acoaxet Club.  The cocktail hour was held outside on the lawn and it had a beautiful scenic view of the ocean.  The theme that Amanda and Mike went with was party animals, because they wanted their guests to relax and have a good time.  Many of the guests had rented private homes in the area, to be close to the couple for the weekend.  After a wonderful dinner, guests were on the dance floor most of the night. After the reception, they headed to the rented home of Amanda and Mike for more fun and food!  Congrats to Amanda and Mike!

Stephanie and Bill-Dragonline Studios

Stephanie and Bill had their wedding at Dragonline Studios in Jamestown, RI. What started out as a horrible rainy day, ended up being a beautiful afternoon for their outdoor ceremony and tented wedding. Stephanie, a jewelry designer, had a clear vision for her wedding day. She has so many personalized pieces that were included into different aspects of their wedding, it definitely was creative and meaningful.  Drgonline Studios is a unique location, where artists gather to work.  The grounds are right on the water and the backyard is spectacular. I know that photographer, Joseph Laurin, captured some amazing shots. The food was absolutely amazing provided by Blue Rocks Catering, and the dance floor was packed all night long by the sounds of the band, Soul Estate, with vocals by American Idol alumni, Erica Van Pelt. Congratulations Stephanie and Bill!

Angela and Jason, Providence Biltmore

The Providence Biltmore set the stage for Angela and Jason's October wedding. Although, they had planned for a ceremony outside on the terrace,  Mother Nature was not working with us on that day. After a quick trip to the State House for some photos, they couple was married inside at The Biltmore.  After the ceremony, guest made their way upstairs to L'Apogee for cocktail hour, where they were served a number of hors d'oeuvres and enjoyed the music of LRE Entertainment.  Once into the ballroom, guests were served a delicious meal and entertained by the staff for their famous dessert presentation. Congratulations to Angela and Jason!

Mayra and Giovanna-Gurney's Newport Resort

Mayra and Giovanna were such a beautiful, fun loving couple to work with! They were from Puerto Rico, and have such a beautiful love story, many years in the making. Although, it was a November wedding, they were bound and determined to hold their ceremony outside.  While it was not the coldest day, the wind and water were definitely whipping around the ceremony site.   The ladies got ready at Gurney's Newport Hotel and were beautified by the team of Salon KG. The couple decided to take photos prior to the ceremony and loaded up their wedding party and photographer, Jennifer Neves, off to Rosecliff, for an amazing photo session. After the ceremony, and realizing it was a little chilly for their guests, they headed inside and completed their wine sharing ceremony and headed to cocktail hour. They incorporated some fun signature cocktails, such as the Blushing Bride, and had plenty of food for their guests to enjoy.  Once inside the reception, Luke Renchan provided the entertainment that kept guests on the dance floor the entire night. With gorgeous centerpieces done by Golden Gate Studios and uplighting provided by Luke's ENT. The room looked absolutely amazing. We wish the couple all the happiness in their lives together.  Congratulations to Mayra and Giovanna!!

Danielle and RJ-Five Bridge Inn

What a wonderful family weekend for Danielle and RJ's wedding at Five Bridge Inn.  It started with a nice rehearsal dinner on the terrace of The Five Bride Inn and ended with a beautiful wedding reception held under the tent. RJ is a very crafty groom, and together they came up with some beautiful creations for the wedding that they will continue to enjoy in their home.
