Kara & Ben-Eisenhower House

Kara and Ben had so many fun details to their wedding. Kara kept coming up with a variety of elements that she wanted to be included in the wedding day.  We had numerous meetings and walk throughs to ensure that everything would run smoothly on the day of. Kara and Ben were married at Portsmouth Abbey Chapel, because this is where Kara had gone to school.  The chapel is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful stained glass windows. After the ceremony, the couple had all the guests line up outside the chapel with bell wands and cheer the couple on as they ran through them all. Once at the reception at Eisenhower House, Kara and Ben had their own flag, with a flag raising ceremony. The reception was held under the tent with a fun lounge and beautiful decor by Exquisite Events. Food was provided by Blackstone Caterers, and they did an amazing job personalizing the menu and bar to the couples request. What better way to end the night then a change of clothes and dash through a sea of sparklers! Congratulations to Kara and Ben!

Nikki and Jaime-Blithewold

Nikki and Jaime were wonderful to work with and so kind.  They were so open to ideas and had some beautiful visions of there own. They had a gorgeous location at The Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, RI, and a beautiful day completed the stunning backdrop of the water.  They started their day with getting ready at The Marriott in Providence with the team from Salon KG.  Once the wedding party was ready, they headed off via trolley to pictures by Lisa Frechette and first look at the State House.  After the first look, they headed off to Blithewold for more photos.  Guests were welcomed into the gardens for the ceremony and after to the reception with tent decor provided by Exquisite Events and flowers by Studio 539.  The wedding was catered by Blackstone Catering and the dance floor was packed with sounds from the band, Boston Common. Many enjoyed the photobooth from Photobooth Planet, and the delicious cake from Confectionery Designs. Congratulations to Nikki and Jaime!

Hillary and Porter-Breene Hollow Farm

I have known Hillary for many years, and have watched her grow into a remarkable woman. She holds a special place in my heart so when she asked me to help her with her wedding, I don't think I could have said yes any faster.  Hillary's family owns a dairy farm, and she wanted this to be where her reception be held. She is living in Kansas, so it made her trips to RI short and far between, however, she had her mind on accomplishing many tasks each time she was home. Hillary assisted me with many weddings in her high school days, so she had a pretty clear vision of what she did and did not want. Family was the most important part of Hillary and Porter's day.  The ceremony was at the First Baptist Church in East Greenwich, with Porter's Dad being a pastor at his church in Nebraska, they knew they wanted him to be included in the service.  After the church, everyone headed to the farm for the reception.  Hillary had beautiful Gerber Daisy's in all of her centerpieces. She also had wood chopped and brought their own meat from Kansas.  The desserts were Allie's Donuts, which were gone as soon as they were out. I was so blessed to be a part of this day. Congratulations Hillary and Porter!

Elizabeth and Walker-Greenvale Vineyards

Elizabeth and Walker's Newport wedding was very unique to me in so many ways. Both ceremony and reception were held at Greenvale Vineyards on a gorgeous June day. Elizabeth's brother composed the music that the wedding party would walk down the aisle to and even hired a small orchestra to play his composition. It was absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Elizabeth had created a newspaper with pencils for each guest while they waited for the ceremony to begin, so they would not be bored.  Once, the ceremony was over guests headed down to the water for the reception. Elizabeth and Walker hired a company to do Flip Books as a gift to their guests, and it was completely entertaining. Guests enjoyed wonderful food from Blackstone Catering and the decor from Exquisite Events was simply Elegant. The fun cake from Confectionery Designs, was fun and definitely complimented the couples personality. The wedding ended with a bang, it's own thunder storm to finish the night! Congratulations and Best Wishes to Elizabeth and Walker.

Carissa and Travis-Oceancliff

Carissa was so much fun to plan with, she was so energetic and full of excitement for her wedding, it made me excited for her big day!  While looking for a venue, I did tell her she would know it when she walked in and Oceancliff took her breath away. Once she had a venue, she may have been one of the fastest brides I have ever had to choose the remaining vendors.  She chose Robin Hollow to do her flowers, and they did such an amazing job.  Nancy Paolino and The Black Tie Band, was the perfect fit for Carissa and Travis's guests and had them on the dance floor all night long.  Chris Martel was a friend of the groom, so Armor and Martel was the photographer for the evening. The biggest surprise for the bride, which I had to keep secret, was the groom purchased an antique car! It was such a great day, great wedding and great people! Congrats to Carissa and Travis!

Madalyn and David-Rosecliff

Madalyn and David had a gorgeous wedding at Rosecliff, and although the rain fell, we were able to bring the ceremony indoors and make it just as beautiful with the floral that was included. The rehearsal dinner was at Sardella's Italian Restaurant and the guests enjoyed a wonderful family style meal.  The morning of the wedding, we were back and forth with the wedding, but a look at the radar had us move everything inside.  They had outstanding service and food provided by Blackstone Caterers and danced all night long! Congrats again to Madalyn and David!

Jessica and David-Fort Adams State Park

Jessica was so excited at our first meeting for her wedding, she was so happy to be marrying David at one of the coolest venues around, Fort Adams. She planned on getting ready in the casemates, and had some great ideas! On the day of the wedding, the skies were not as cooperative as we would have liked and ended up doing the ceremony in the casemates due to the pending rain.  After the ceremony was completed, the casemates were transformed for cocktail hour.  The floral arrangements by Sayles Livingston were absolutely stunning.  The catering was provided by Blue Rocks Catering and they did such a fantastic job.   The couple provided lawn games for their guests, and there was so much laughter and fun had by all! Congrats to Jessica and David.
