Glen Manor House is one of my absolute favorite venue to be at so I am always excited to work there. Erin and Ben were planning a long distance wedding from Arizona and I worked with them so they could come here the weekend of the wedding, enjoy their family and friends and not worry about anything. Erin shipped me as many items as she had prior to the wedding so that she did not have to worry about packing anything or bringing additional luggage with her. What I love most about the Glen, is that you can really make it your own. There are so many places you can personalize and Erin and Ben really loved candlelight. I think it is the most candles I have ever seen there but it gave the house a beautiful soft warm glow to it, it was absolutely gorgeous. The food was provided by Glorious Affairs and they did an outstanding job with all that was offered. Blooming Blossoms was the florist and as always Pam and her team did an amazing job. Congratulations to Erin and Ben!

Tim and Steve-Glen Manor House
I enjoyed every minute of working with Tim and Steve. I believe that Tim would be a great planner! He was very detailed in what he wanted for his special day and it showed in all that he did. Family and friends was very important to this couple, and the love resonated from their wedding party to their families. They chose to have their ceremony and reception at The Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, and had a close friend officiate the wedding with the scenic setting of the ocean behind them. Since they had almost of all their pictures completed before the ceremony, they had to time to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. After a wonderful meal from West Bay Gourmet, guests and the couple spent the entire night on the dance floor.

Erin and Alex, Glen Manor House
Erin and Alex had a gorgeous day for their Glen Manor Wedding. They began with pictures prior to the ceremony at the Glen. Their ceremony was a Catholic/Jewish ceremony and was a beautiful way to blend both families. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a signature cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by Blackstone Caterers. The bride and many of her family members had celiac disease so this wedding was completely gluten free. This included a gluten free wedding cake provided by Eva Ruth's in Middletown. Once dinner had concluded, guests hit the dance floor to the sounds of Nightshift, a special surprise was when the bride's father sang a special song to her. It was so touching and beautiful. Congrats to Erin and Alex and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

Elliot and Eliza, Glen Manor House
I would love to have been one of Elliot and Eliza's friends for this amazing weekend. They had so many great activities planned for their friends and families. A great welcome reception at The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina, they watched a polo match, a wedding at Glen Manor House, after party at the Clark Cooke House and finally a brunch at the Hotel Viking. The wedding at Glen Manor House was catered by Russell Morin's Fine Catering, and was absolutely delicious. The music was provided by Night Rhythm and we even had our bride and groom in the air crowd surfing at one point in the night. A big thank you to all the vendors, Adeline and Grace Photography, Fresh Focus Productions, Blooming Blossoms, Viking Tours, and Rockstar Limo. Congrats to Eliza and Elliot!

Christy and Brad at Glen Manor
Christy and Brad were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Newport on Monday, April 22, 2013 with a reception following at the Glen Manor House. The ladies got ready at the Newport Beach Hotel and Suites and had hair and makeup done by the wonderful Ali from Salon KG. After a gorgeous ceremony, the guests headed to the Glen Manor. While the bridal party took pictures with Erica Mancini from Adeline and Grace Photography. They guests were greeted at the Glen with mojitos from the Blackstone Catering Staff and the music of a Japanese koto player. After cocktail hour, guests entered the ballroom decorated by Sayles Livingston Flowers. Once the dinner was served, guests were invited to kick up their heels with the music of Nancy Paolino and the Black Tie Band. At the end of the night, guests were treated to hand make cookies made by the bride's mom and given with thanks and love.
