Sarah and Drew-The Towers

Sarah and Drew had the wettest wedding, I think I have ever been a part of but their colors were so vibrant, it brightened everything up!  They had a ceremony at South Ferry Church with the bride's uncle officiating.  I am pretty sure that he did not leave a dry eye!! Off to The Towers, with the evening catered by Blackstone Caterers, flowers by Studio 539, and music by DJ Corey Young.  The rain ended sometime during the reception, and it didn't matter to their guests, who had a blast dancing! Congratulations Sarah and Drew!!

Michelle and Donald-Eisenhower House

Michelle was getting married to Donald, with or without COVID! She wrote a letter to the Governor, she was focused on everything she needed to do to make her wedding go on safely and follow the state guidelines. We had Plan B and Plan C, and when it was time for Michelle's wedding, Rhode Island was in such a good spot, she got to have the guest count she had hoped for and the wedding she dreamed of. Michelle and I started planning her wedding before anyone knew what COVID was. She had picked Eisenhower House, but was unsure of all the extra's she needed to pull her ideas together. She chose Blackstone Caterers, New England Tent, Ryan Designs for tent décor, Le Isle Rose as a florist, Melody Piling Photography and PEAK Events. Together this team created a beautiful event, outstanding food and a happy couple at the end of the night.   Congratulations to Michelle and Donald.

Frank and Brian-Glen Manor, Redwood Library & 41 North

Frank and Brian are from Miami, and they wanted a destination wedding in Newport.  They were looking to do 3 large events for their guests, a Welcome Party, the Wedding and a spectacular brunch the following morning.  When we started our quest for the perfection location, they could not have picked the 3 most different venues to host each event at and give their guests a glimpse of what Newport has to offer.  The Welcome Party was hosted at Glen Manor, Blackstone Caterer was the caterer for both the Welcome Party and the Wedding and they did an outstanding job mixing up the menu's for each event and creating a menu that was unique to this couple.  The wedding ceremony was held outside at the Redwood Library and cocktail hour was at the Newport Art Museum and back to The Redwood Library for reception. I think guests were just blown away by all they got to take in that day from the art to the history of the library.  Sunday brunch was held at 41 North in the private room on the lower level.  We got to use so many elements from each of the three events and change how they were displayed and looked.  Congratulations to Frank and Brian!

Kara & Ben-Eisenhower House

Kara and Ben had so many fun details to their wedding. Kara kept coming up with a variety of elements that she wanted to be included in the wedding day.  We had numerous meetings and walk throughs to ensure that everything would run smoothly on the day of. Kara and Ben were married at Portsmouth Abbey Chapel, because this is where Kara had gone to school.  The chapel is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful stained glass windows. After the ceremony, the couple had all the guests line up outside the chapel with bell wands and cheer the couple on as they ran through them all. Once at the reception at Eisenhower House, Kara and Ben had their own flag, with a flag raising ceremony. The reception was held under the tent with a fun lounge and beautiful decor by Exquisite Events. Food was provided by Blackstone Caterers, and they did an amazing job personalizing the menu and bar to the couples request. What better way to end the night then a change of clothes and dash through a sea of sparklers! Congratulations to Kara and Ben!

Madalyn and David-Rosecliff

Madalyn and David had a gorgeous wedding at Rosecliff, and although the rain fell, we were able to bring the ceremony indoors and make it just as beautiful with the floral that was included. The rehearsal dinner was at Sardella's Italian Restaurant and the guests enjoyed a wonderful family style meal.  The morning of the wedding, we were back and forth with the wedding, but a look at the radar had us move everything inside.  They had outstanding service and food provided by Blackstone Caterers and danced all night long! Congrats again to Madalyn and David!

Lexi and Brent-Glen Manor House

Lexi and Brent were married on a beautiful, July afternoon, at the scenic Glen Manor House. The bride and her ladies got ready at Jennie Kay salon.  After the salon, both guys and girls were transported by Viking Tours to Glen Manor house. They had both ceremony and reception on site.  After the ceremony, guests were enjoying the grounds and hors d'oeuvres by Blackstone Catering, while the bridal party took pictures with Carried Rodman.  Once cocktail hour was over guests were awed by the flowers provided by Laurie Marshall and excited for the delicious cake that was done by MILK in NYC. After 3 dress changes and a lot of dancing, the couple were headed out to Newport with their guests. Congratulations Lexi and Brent!

Lauren and Matt-Blithewold Mansion

Lauren and Matt had such a beautiful day for their July wedding. Both the bride and groom got ready at the Renaissance Hotel in Providence and wanted to do a first look at the State House in Providence.  After their first look and some photos at the State House, they were off to Blithewold to continue their photos. The tent at Blithewold was completely transformed by Sayles Livingston and Exquisite Events, it was absolutely stunning. After their ceremony that was officiated by a close friend, they were off to the reception under the tent with outstanding food provided by Blackstone Caterers. The Sugarbabies performed and had everyone on the dance floor the entire evening.  If guests were not on the dance floor, they were hanging out in the lounge area. Scott Zuehlke was the photographer and he took some magnificent photos of this great couple and location. Congrats again to Lauren and Matt!
